Dav Pierre
Head Coach
I am the boy’s program director at the Gymnastics Academy of Atlanta and currently the State Chairman for Georgia men’s gymnastics. From being a founding member of GAA’s men’s team to becoming its coach I’ve had the opportunity to have a hand in the history and the evolution of this team. A team that has produced not only champions from the local to the national stage, but also men of great character. As a member of Georgia’s gymnastics community, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to raising the level of gymnastics in our state.
Why Georgia United?
I want to help ensure that there’s a place for the guys that are still hungry to grow and compete in this sport.

I am a recent graduate from UGA, now coaching at Amplitude Gymnastics Academy. I’m thrilled with the development of this program throughout my first 4 years, and I’m happy to continue to be a part of it!
Why Georgia United?
Growing up, it was always a goal of mine to compete collegiate gymnastics. With Georgia United forming during my senior year of high school, I knew I wanted to help grow the program as much as possible. Being able to attend my dream school while still competing was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up!

Nathan Gruwell, Kennesaw State, #66

Why Georgia United?
I wanted to pursue gymnastics at a level above club gymnastics, and Georgia United helps me facilitate that. Being able to compete with this fantastic team while being able to go to college in state is amazing.

Why Georgia United?
I decided to do Georgia United as I felt like I still had more to accomplish. As I started gymnastics later than most, I found exponential growth towards my finals years in the sport, but finished my high school career feeling like I hadn’t reached my peak. Georgia United and GymACT presented me with an opportunity to grow with incredible coaching, and a new, higher level of competition.
